Two things I just want to say here.
1) LSU fans are confusing what this graphic is saying. Yes, it's true that the Tigers have won three national championships since 2000. But those two other national championships occurred under two different head coaches. This graphic is referring exclusively to Ed Orgeron. What this graphic is essentially saying is that Orgeron lucked into a national championship season.
2) That argument, however, is too early to make. We're only one full season removed from 2019 LSU and so it's impossible to say definitively that 2019 LSU was a one-hit-wonder under Orgeron.

National champions in 2003, 2007, 2019 and national championship game appearance in 2011.
Yeah, we are a total one hit one

Because it isn't a logical argument.
I don't understand arguments that aren't logical.
Are you saying you do?

fricking travesty they were picked to play in the Orange Bowl.

guess the argument is that 2019 LSU won differently from other LSU squads and was also a cut above even the 2003, 2007, and 2011 teams.
Yea I don’t really get it. 2016-18 was the groundwork for that title with Burrow transferring in as the ultimate difference maker. And they spell out everything from both coordinators leaving to draft entrants to covid yet still can’t put it together.
Slow offseason i guess.

The whole purpose behind this article was to comment on LSU's sudden and swift fall from glory.
People saying it wasn't a one-hit wonder are forgetting that that was LSU's only natty in a 13 year span. 2007 wasn't exactly yesterday.

Article isn't about championships, most of the teams on the list didn't win them

But it is. Is LSU trending downward under Orgeron or are they trending upwards? Prior to 2019, the vast majority of fans and pundits would argue that LSU was on the decline. Clearly 247 Sports still believes this to be true, 2019 notwithstanding. Hence the label “one-hit wonder.”

Ok but relatively speaking, 2019 LSU was a one-hit wonder.
I mean if Georgia had a perfect season in 2021, and then completely fell off the map in 2022, you could say they were a one-hit wonder even though Georgia is always relatively strong.

Not sure how.
They won 10 games for the first time in several years in 2018 as well as a NY6 bowl.

I mean they went 10-3 and won a NY6 bowl in 2018 with an inexperienced team, returned most of that team and won a national championship.
Most of that team left and they went 5-5 with a bunch of first time starters with no offseason and without any cupcakes.
It's a major reach IMO.

Let's face it. 2019 LSU was a total and complete anomaly similar to 2010 Auburn. 2013 Auburn doesn't make 2010 any less of an anomaly.

How so?
They only lost 3 games the year prior with a very inexperienced team.
Not like they went 8-5 then had a great year.

You took the time to count all of the LSU responses?
Damn, that's kind of sad.
