Talent and spend matters but at some point you get diminishing returns.

You can pay arch manning 10m but he’s still arch manning, whether he’s paid 10m or 2m.

Interesting. Thanks for posting that link.

Of note: #11, #15 and #16 are a combined 14-2 so far this season when they aren't playing each other. The only two losses were to Bama.

Kentucky is paying Will Stein around $6 million per year.

LSU is paying Kiffin roughly $13 million per year.

LSU is getting shafted and overpaying everyone else in college football.

Enjoy your 2 losses.

kiffin has several years as head coach and is much older. If Stein is legit in the coming years he will get 10 plus. Again your showing how stupid you are. Congrats.

Yes we have a tough schedule and yes we lost 2 close ones so far that we could have won. We just not ready yet....we will be better than 7-6 this season so thats fine in year 1 with me. You just trolling.

Yep

Agree 100%!!!

A&M is a fricking joke, we can frick up a wet dream!

What A&M needs to do is bring in Saban as a consultant and review the entire program and take his advice in how to build a program from top to bottom! But we won’t do that because we are too damn stupid and too many egos involved!

Cam Coleman had some good catches yesterday.

At crunch time, he got outcompeted for a ball.

It is what it is.

Tbf, LSU had to build a team and overpay for players so they could replace 50-60+ players. Not using that as an excuse, but that matters a lot.

No excuse for Texas and A&M though

Texas = Over $50 million just for Arch to throw 2 picks against unranked Oklahoma, LOL. OU absolutely deflated Texas in so many ways.

only to those who haven't yet figured out that Sark ain't it. I predicted 8-4 in the season thread. That's looking possible now.

4th year in a row where our average points per game was less than the previous year. That's regression to everyone but the most staunch kool-aid drinkers in our fan base. Sark was, is, and will continue to be our biggest problem.
It was Quinn's fault. Can't wait for Arch. No, now it's Arch's fault, can't wait for Lacey.

I hope Lacey knows what he's in for. When Sark is unable to take advantage of his unique talents and tries to force him into a system he's not built for, I'm sure our fan base will blame him and not Sark.

It doesn't really make me mad anymore. It's discouraging but at least I saw it coming.

Georgia established itself decades ago..it's not like you were bad under Richt, Kirby took you to the next level. Sometimes for whatever reason it doesn't work out I thought Michigan would be better with Kyle Whittington..and Kiffin oof $112 million wasted for staff and a roster supposed to make the playoffs. They don't have another QB on that roster and Leavitt has another year. Kiffin may get fired mid season next year if he doesn't have a signature win soon.

Can’t and won’t disagree. We have an OL that can’t run block, a DL that gets bullied every week, a QB that can’t throw and an offensive coordinator that has never been an offensive coordinator trying to be in a conference that plays the best defense in the nation.

Oh, and Elko got an extension because of reasons. (And I actually still like Elko)

Truly awful.

He’s developing a resume in big moments:
1. Fumbled to clinch a close game for Alabama
2. Got punked by OU DB on a 50/50 ball which led to a game winning FG for OU.

You haven't seen anything yet. A&M will have an empty QB room at end of the season as they all portal out. A repeat of the Sumlin years. frick you, Elko.

If we lose to the Citadel...the whole team will quit.

Unmitigated disaster.
