1. Off season thread
2. What is the point other than to troll?

They are both in. I am happy they are here.

I’d like the South more if Tennessee,Arkansas,Lousiana,Alabama, and Mississippi didn’t rank in the top 10 every year in having the highest percentage of fat, poor, and stupid people.

ETA: I think South Carolina makes that list too in addition to most mobile homes in the U.S.

Someday, God will see a horrid mistake has been made which needs his intervention. He'll have Missouri move to the Big 10 and, because he hates the ignorant, fricking SEC, he'll smite them by sending either Oklahoma or Texas to take Mizzou's place.

Well...it was very “SEC” and enjoyable when Ark beat the shite out of Texas, 31-7, a couple of years ago. About the same time MO was representing by losing to Indiana.

Ark has earned their stripes. No one is sure where the State of Missouri is, much less where the U of M is located.

Easily Missori. I've lived there. That place is through and through the Midwest. It's culturally no different than Ohio. I will say this though, they definitely have identity crisis. Several of them fawn over Southern Culture but in reality they're nothing like Southern Culture. I worked with a guy in St Louis who was born and raised in Missouri and he had a Battle Flag tattoo on his shoulder but was as Midwest as they come.

Arkansas is more Southern than Plains states. I know this as I've also lived in Texas. Texans are going to hate me for this but I also don't consider Texas the South. It's big enough to span two Geographic and cultural territories. Those being the Plains states and the southwest. Arkansas is a mix of Tennessee and North Louisiana culturally and geographically

Would you like to know how I know you are a complete moron?

Here's a hint. Look up SEC Titles and National Titles Arkansas.

Care to take a bet over which of us has more national titles in men's sports? Because, I hate to tell you this, but LSU in national titles has been carried by your women's teams.

You might be the dumbest person I've run across today and that is saying something on this board.

Right sign for the occasion my good man. Bottom line is, we're here for da money. We don't care if we fit in and it's better we don't. We can't help it if us Yankees are better than you. Let's get real, southern culture is backwards and behind the times. Just keep sending the checks and learn to like it.

My disliking Mizzou in the SEC has nothing to do with them personally.

The last expansion, with the over-the-top launch of the SEC Network just made the SEC feel different. Corporate and whorey and "all about branding".

It isn't Mizzou's fault. I like the state of Missouri just fine. It's partially a problem because I'm old.

MIZZ to answer your question

But MIZZ and TAM should both have never been let in the SEC.

I would have preferred Clemson and Louisville.

I take it you didn't live in Northeast Texas then? Being from there, it fits geographically and culturally with the South.
