quote:Gotta be honest here, it’s funny to see this game mentioned given the 31-3 demolishing Kirby gave Mullen 7 days later.
Based on final rankings I think LSU 2017 was the best team he ever beat at State. And they won that game by 30.

And then all of those teams tanked and finished with 5 losses each. Big deal.
Because we beat them
They didn't finish unranked and with 5 losses solely because MSU beat them. But you did expose them for the frauds that they were similar to the way Bama, OM, and GT exposed MSU

Quite frankly, we should overtake Georgia this year, so I understand your fear.
I am not a fan of troll threads, and I for one think Mullen has done okay at Florida. You are certainly better than you were under the previous 2 regimes.
That said....how are you going to feel if Georgia beats Florida this year taking your comment into consideration?
Florida might win this year. We are fighting an uphill battle right now and could get off to a rough start, but given that you think this is the year that Florida should catch Georgia, how are you going to feel if you don't?
This is an honest question in hopes that it turns a troll thread into an honest give and take conversation.

Serious question UGA's last BIG win?

If this is true, then Mullen has never had a big win. At least Kirby has won the SEC and a Rose Bowl in the playoffs.

You're using a stupid argument, but it is an argument we can live with if that is what you want to do.

Your win counted as 5 losses for them?

Well, when you to lose to a program like Mississippi State, it probably demoralizes you for the rest of the season.

I mean last year your only good win...was us if Auburn is not a good win. Tell us. How did you do vs LSU?
Weird how Georgia can not beat LSU and Bama, yet their idiotic fan base thinks Mullen should have done it at Miss State.
The bigger question. Is why Georgia is unable to beat teams with remotely close talent? Why did Kirby suck arse his first year at Georgia? Was it because he needed to pay enough talent to hide his lacking ability to develop and gameplan? shite even Mullen won 10 games in year 1, despite taking over a four win team with less talent than Smart. He still beat two top ten teams that year.
I mean it took the refs extending your drive to put us away last year. Just disappointing to see so much paid talent go to waste.
This is quality internetting right here.

He can't even stop his team from getting blown out two years in a row against LSU, imagine if he had to coach with Mississippi State talent.
Honest question, if Mullen falls to 0-4 vs. Kirby will you still be screeching about how terrible Kirby is and how he’d get fired in 2 years at MSU?
It’s becoming a stranger and stranger stance to take as Mullen’s track record against good teams gets worse and worse.
My personal theory is you’ll transition more heavily toward the “BUYING RECRUITS!!!” angle since that can’t be countered as easily with us pointing to the scoreboard.
Either way, I look forward to your next series of “Kirby sucks” posts following a fourth straight Florida loss to him

Uh, what? You realize that he’s 5-3 against ranked teams at Florida and 21-5 overall?
Nothing about his trajectory at Florida indicates that his track record against good teams is getting worse and worse.

Well . . . it can only go up after going 2-19 vs ranked teams at MSU

Lmao, I couldn’t care less about what he did at MSU. His ceiling there was 10 wins. His floor here was 10 wins. It’s to be determined how far above 10 wins he can get to here (11 in year 2 indicates he can still go further), but saying he’s at his ceiling at UF or that he’s getting worse and worse against good teams just isn’t true. It’s wishful thinking.

It was just a joke. You're over thinking it.

If you say so.
Something tells me that Tennessee, Kentucky, and Mizzou all could work their way up and fight for that spot in the East on occasion. Especially with MuLLLens offensive recruiting.

Put Saban or Kirby at Miss State of all places for 10 or so years and tell me what their record against Top 25 teams is.
