Who do you have?

Choices are:

Arky: (was a basketball school)
A&M: (because Texas fricked up the Oklahoma Texas deal)
USCe (because UNC deal will through)
Missouri (I have no clue, package deal with faggies? )

I would have to say USCe has been the biggest surprise, won a bunch of Nattys in baseball, been competitive in football etc.

Arky is ok, won a Natty in basketball, bunch in track etc

Aggie’s are what we thought they were

Missouri is obviously choice to me. They were supposed to be good as basketball and have done nothing. Ok at football but wth

Missouri has at least won the East. Twice.

It's A&M, obviously.

Yea, they'd be better off in the big 10. Hot take: Maryland would be a good pick up for the SEC.

A&M by far. We diluted the SEC brand by adding them.

A&M

Missouri is a weird fit, but that’s what makes it endearing.

SC and Arkie have been around too long to consider them “expansion schools”.

A&M belongs in the conference with the other Texas schools.

Out of those 4, Mizzou was still a terrible fit
They feel more like a Big 10 school over SEC
They should have stayed in Big 12

Mizzou Ark is the only SEC game that seems to generate any excitement

If Fla, UGA, Kentucky would man up SEC could have had another ACC school instead but they didn't want another team from their state in the SEC which is a joke since you play them every year anyway.

Agreed - they are essentially Baylor without the academics.

Nah man, nah. The Terps? Please. They don't even have fans. It's Ravens and Os up there. They used to care about bball, but Lefty is long gone.

A&M but all they brought to the table in the first place was a lightly better path to Texas recruiting, which only exists from east of San Antonio and does not include any linemen so even that is a wash.

No surprise USC is a good fit for the SEC...same fan bases and recruiting from the same pool as the rest of the SEC. Misery, Arkansas and AM are always going to struggle because of the lack of quality athletes in their recruiting base. I know ATM is in Texas but there is a reason Texas and ATM are both largely uncompetitive and it begins with a lack of offensive and defensive lineman. This is why OU loses in the first round of the playoffs every year. This is why the big 12 does not play defense because they do not have access to defensive linemen. Texas high school football is all about skill players but games over time are still won in the trenches and always will be...

What? The UNC deal? There was never a UNC deal. They're attached at the hip with the other Tobacco Road schools that can throw a lot of weight around in the ACC. They would never leave.

The story goes that FSU was invited to join the SEC but they declined so we got the invite instead.

I can attest to this. Now Terp football has never been good since I've been up here so maybe it would change if they suddenly started winning a bunch but MD football is way, way down the list of teams people care about in the area.

Hell man this is the south. If it ain't more than 75 years old or so its still spankin' new! Arkansas and South Carolina will always be outsiders looking in....

I vote USCe. They were a last minute add and haven't produced. Clemson would have been a better add.

That should make you feel ashamed

They only won the big 12 north twice in 15 years

Wrong. The expansion decisions - as they were in the latest round - were about money. SC is the larger school with the larger fan base that is still considered more valuable even in 2020 after all of Clemson's success.

Georgia Tech will never be in the SEC again. They got above their raising and will pay that bill forever. You don't snub the prettiest girl at the dance and get a second shot in life....

I doubt if GT would come back today....20 years ago they'd have killed to do so but the moment where they could have saved face is long since passed.

FSU and Clemson would both be good fits for the SEC but Clemson would be a fool to give up the deal they will have most years with being the only football power in an entire conference and FSU is what it was meant to be now, not what it was when it was free shoes U. FSU is destined to win 7 or so games a year, have a nice little bowl trip and never sniff any sort of title again...its what they are. Miami is the same without of course the possibility of the program being an NFL extension team competing in CFB but having a player payroll akin to that of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Seriously...if UF ever rights their ship and are unencumbered by the recruiting shite that went on in Tallahassee and Coral Gables when the old ball sack was in Gainesville the CFB world ain't seen a dynasty the likes of which UF would be. The flagship program in the SEC without the recruiting cheating going on in Miami and Tallahassee???? Forget about it.....

You want nothing to do with Maryland. Think about tailgating in Baltimore and the crappiest fans ever. The ACC was actually glad they took their shite somewhere else.

Then you haven’t been around long enough to know better.
