Hot take: Maryland would be a good pick up for the SEC.

Not at all. The only thing they'd offer is fricking up tailgates by putting Old Bay on everything.

As far as the OPs question, A&M.

SC and Arkie have been around too long to consider them “expansion schools”.

Not really if you can remember the SEC before they were added.

Would LSU welcome another school from its state?

Out of those 4, Mizzou was still a terrible fit
They feel more like a Big 10 school over SEC
They should have stayed in Big 12

Mizzou Ark is the only SEC game that seems to generate any excitement

Guy doesn't understand the concept of expansion.

The answer here is A&M. The other 3 have at least been to Atlanta in football.

I imagine this only covers a small portion of this board.

I’m not assuming any malicious intent with this thread and you’re all cute and unique in your own way but as far as how you feel about us, well...

You want nothing to do with Maryland. Think about tailgating in Baltimore and the crappiest fans ever.

Why would you be tailgating in Baltimore? How often do they play at M&T? I can't really think of any off the top of my head. They played in a half-empty Fedex vs Texas a couple of years ago but that's it.

With that said their campus is ugly as shite.

Maybe I should have said, “Baltimore Area”. It all bleeds into together. Worst experience I have EVER had for a game. Period, bar none.

I mean I don't doubt it. College Park is just not a great CFB environment.

It's neither a quaint college town nor is it in a city and misses out on the having the benefits of either of those.

Instead it's in some meddling medium sized town that's no different than 1,000 others across the country.

Both Missouri and Aggots. Ruined the SEC schedule and bring nothing of value. Slive's incompetent ruined our beloved conference.

All good arguments, but sticking with Missouri because it was supposed to give us another basketball bid to tournament, and they have been shite in basketball ever since. Football has been ok, but no championship in anything.

Aggies are Exactly what we thought they were.

USCe has greatly exceeded expectations.

I'd like to personally thank all of the posters here for taking it easy on we Gamecocks. Some of you were even more than civil, some were actually complimentary. We sincerely appreciate this goodwill during the difficult time we're going through. Not Covid, or Biden possibly being elected, I'm talking about Muschamp.

Seriously...if UF ever rights their ship and are unencumbered by the recruiting shite that went on in Tallahassee and Coral Gables when the old ball sack was in Gainesville the CFB world ain't seen a dynasty the likes of which UF would be.

Some might say the same about Georgia.

South Carolina and Arkansas have been in the SEC for 1/3rd of it's existence. We've been members for as long as Georgia Tech and Tulane were members of the SEC. We're used to the grumbling about newcomers and don't give two shits what any of you think.

Really? Have any of them brought anything to the SEC or added value?
