How did I miss this? He moved to DE and had tackle for loss.

Step Sullivan DE

Tailback Harvey Williams, who rushed for 1,114 yards for the Raiders four seasons ago but was shuttled between tight end and fullback the past two years, was cut by Oakland as the team opened minicamp Friday.

Cbsnews.com from 1999 disagrees.

Definitely moved to TE. Was a great one. Thus the nickname Harvey Jesus. Knee injury vs Tulane killed our chances in sugar bowl vs Nebraska ‘87.

My bad... Knee injury was before gator bowl win over USCe not sugar bowl loss to Nebraska.

Per wiki page...
After 1995, Williams lost his starting job to another first round pick, Napoleon Kaufman, and was eventually moved to tight end. In 1997, he had perhaps his most memorable game as a pro, scoring 4 touchdowns in a 38–13 win over the San Diego Chargers. He stayed with the Raiders until his release after the 1998 NFL season

I thought Kardell and Bradford were going to be the best LG/RG tandem at LSU in years but they are either too focused on politics or they can’t get their weight down.

Slow your roll or go back to your original thought, best guard tandem at Lsu in years but not until 2021-22

Then you haven’t been around long enough to know better.

C’mon S. You’re better than that. Jeff Malone from Miss St is the one true Eddie Munster clone.

Just my thoughts.

I think your thoughts suck
Weakest SEC tradition I’ve ever experienced is the sad, end of third quarter circus/merry go round sounding, arm in arm swaying, uninspiring song they play in that stadium.

Also be careful where you park your rental car. Mine was towed and we had to take a damn bicycle rickshaw to the impound lot. Finally, cash only at the tow lot, f’ers.

If you lived though the John Bond run then ‘86 at memorial stadium in Jackson is the correct answer. I was at the ‘82 and ‘84 debacles at Starkpatch. Hell we even went on a basketball road trip to see Lsu’s eventual SEC championship basketball team play at MSU ‘84-85 season, invaded their student section and endured a double digit beat down.

Nov. 15, 1986 — LSU 47, Mississippi State 0

In stadium celebrating involved some animal house style gatoring, I’m not proud just saying there was some serious celebration going on. We’ve come a long way from those days.

We didn’t suck at the time. ‘82 Orange Bowl, ‘84 Sugar Bowl but we couldn’t beat State. Putting the dogs in their place was awesome.

Bowl doesn’t exist now. Garden State Bowl

Any type of restricted attendance will be a nightmare.

The games are for the students first. It keeps alums and fans connected to the school and each other, but students first.

Let the students sit on the west side. People/corporations with booths get to use them with percentage restrictions in place at time of the game. Could be 25% 50% 100% based on which phase we’re in at the time.

Immediate family members of players and coaches get to attend, too.

Regular ticket holders stay home or tailgate in parking lot of their favorite mall.

If at some point during season all restrictions are lifted then all ticket holders attend.

Yes, Lsu loses money. Yes, ticket holders have to sacrifice. :geauxtigers:

it's hard to not include Josh Reed

No doubt. The day he and Rohan had at Alabama was incredible. I admit it’s weird why certain players are the first names that pop in my head for certain numbers.

Yep, 77 A.J. Duhe. Also Roland Barbay

Duhe NFL Dolphins, Kenny Bordelon NFL Saints, Steve Cassidy and Dan Alexander switched to OL NFL Jets made a strong front four.

Your 18 is ... Buddy Lee!?

Buddy Lee, starting QB on 1970 SEC Champs. Not necessarily the best 18 but he's the one that sticks in my mind.

Current 18 crew is probably Hester since he's on the radio everyday. Can't get away from him.

He did the same thing to Mauck at Florida. Little Nicky didn’t trust his backups.

No doubt. Jones should be the #7 I remember first but I was a student when Risher played at LSU. ‘82 season, FSU game, beating Bama and going to Orange Bowl put Risher on my list.
