You can call Saban a cheater if you want but calling him a POS is certainly a take.

I nominate this thread as one of the SECys.. are those still a thing? I don't know what category this goes into, but it's gotta be a winner of something.

and Saban ran as soon he saw the scales tipping

Nick Saban doesn't have to apologize for anything. NIL and transfer portal are killing college football. At the age of 72, he saw the sport going in a direction that didn't please him so he retired. Good for him.
Meyer created a fake excuse for quitting on Florida. He allowed his players, including a murderer, to do whatever they wanted. He's one of the biggest, if not the biggest pieces of crap to sully college athletics.

Saban is complaining about pay for play

Nick Saban is the original "pay for play" guru. Saban's buying teams is the reason we have NIL.

This is why you can't discuss this subject with Bammers. You are too stupid, and too dishonest to admit where NIL started.

It's started with that slimy SOB signing recruits, and them posting pictures of their new cars and wads of cash on Facebook the next day.

You should probably opt out of this debate

"California has passed multiple bills related to Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) rights for college athletes, including:

Bill 206
Signed into law in 2019, this bill, also known as the “Fair Pay to Play Act”, allowed student athletes to profit from their NILs.

Senate Bill 26
Signed into law in 2021, this bill allows student athletes to earn compensation for their NILs.

Senate Bill 906
This bill aims to increase transparency in collegiate athletics by requiring institutions to report NIL earnings by gender and sport.

A bill that would pay college athletes more
This bill would place excess money earned by athletes into a trust so they can earn the funds after graduating.

How did California's NIL legislation impact the NCAA?
California's 2019 legislation led to a legal domino effect that resulted in the NCAA suspending its rules that prohibited NIL deals in 2021.

You should STFU. It started when other coaches needed a way to keep up with Saban and Alabama's HISTORICALLY filthy program.

Sure but I've never met an alcoholic who wasn't a POS. Does the causation really matter at that point?

Meyer is a full-on POS human being who uses people and discards them. And he’s still a better human being than Seban.
