What happens if AU hires Kiffin, Freeze or Prime? Still a dumpster fire?

Why haven't Auburn did it before hiring the last 3 HCs that were fired because they weren't getting it done. Yes, one of them did win a championship but that HC didn't last long.

Auburn, and it’s not close.

Florida is a blue blood in a talent rich state (to state the obvious) and a highly desirable program.

Auburn has always been second-class: It usually takes the kids overlooked by the better schools. On occasion, they take a five-star who was expelled at his superior university (see Cam Newton and innumerable ex-Georgia players) to field a competitive team.

Very few top recruits see Auburn, AL as a desirable location compared to better programs in Athens, Gainesville, Tuscaloosa, Baton Rouge, Austin, etc.

Auburn is like the kid who “gets lucky” by taking advantage of a hot drunk girl and then brags about it for the next decade. Sick

Because history keeps repeating same old problem with boosters! Look at Alabama had dissolved the boosters in control. Will Auburn be able to do the same?

Oh sweet baby Jesus, let Auburn hire Primetime

THAT wouldn't be a dumpster fire, it would be a volcano eruption!

Since that NC, AU played for another and two SECW championships. That with some fricked up coaches.

Well it was UT, but they show a quick turnaround is possible.

Auburn has problems and I believe our New President understands them. One is a perception problem and is the major reason Harsin was not fired on Sunday. Let him take 4 or 5 more losses.

Both have losses to LSU.

Florida is recruiting better, but everyone know that our boosters will buy talent through NIL.

I wanted Billy at Auburn. The Auburn coaching hire will be critical.

Guess which team has fired twice as many coaches as Auburn the past 20 years? Yet, you dumbasses think Auburn is the only place that fires coaches.

UF has a new coach and is has had a difficult schedule so far as LSU's Daniels is starting to click since the Tennessee game. It's hard to judge UF yet. Their recruiting still looks good so I'll wait.

Alabama is a bigger mess than either right now. Not much was expected from Auburn or Florida. Big things were expected from Bama in '22

Ain’t happening, time for y’all to face the reality of the situation you created.

Freeze or Prime

Please let one of these happen. With Freeze you D will only be good until all your current recruits leave. He can not recruit a solid D with depth. Prime doesn’t have the chops yet to run a P5 program. You have issues now with boosters etc….bring him in and it will get to be 5 times as bad.

At least Florida’s recruiting seems to be on an upswing to some extent.

He was paid $21 million to walk away. How is that “run out”?
How long after a raise and extension was that?

I don’t think you can get drunk enough to say he’s not better that Harsin.

Florida is not a dumpster fire. I hate UF but so I want them to be a dumpster fire…. They just aren’t. You gotta give Billy time to rebuild. It surely isn’t time to panic.

3 years.

He may be, but it was time for him to leave Auburn. The problems we are seeing on our OL now are a direct reflection on Gus.

UT has an elite QB, without Hooker next year they will be unable to sustain success at an elite level for an extended period of time - see AU with Cam Newton in 2010, flash in the pan

Are you predicting Florida will play for the National Championship next year? because that's what we did in year 2.

And you predicted Georgia would do this the year prior? That is what you are asking him to do.
