One has to wonder how many of these ranked wins come from Sec teams just beating down other over-ranked Sec teams at the beginning of the season?
Well FINAL AP rankings were used for this, so wonder no more: there's zero of that included in these stats.
And further more, every league has overrated teams in the preseason that don't pan out. Penn State and Clemson both started in the Top 5 last year and finished unranked.

If you do a points system, awarding a team 25 points for beating the #1 team, 24 points for beating the #2 team... sliding all the way down to 1 point for beating the #1 team, this is how it shakes out over the past 20 seasons:
792- Alabama
543- Georgia
541- LSU
439- Oklahoma
381- Auburn
376- Florida
265- South Carolina
265- Texas
213- Texas A&M
204- Ole Miss
182- Arkansas
170- Tennessee
97- Missouri
89- Kentucky
53- Miss St
19- Vanderbilt
Big 3 is obvious…..Auburn higher than I would have guessed…..Tennessee is a horrid football program
