Basketball is Power 6. The Big East is the sixth

State is 3-0 against those teams. Utah and Marquette beat Arizona and Baylor.

We are going to play 4 of our 13 non conference games against P6 and a couple more against mid majors that will be competitive in their conference.

State normally goes 8-5 against such a schedule. They are 10-0 so far. Schedule is fine.

I’m afraid so. There will be plenty of gut punching games this year.

Might not want to do this, we play Bradley in NLR Saturday and that’s not a guarantee win there. Karma and all………. I don’t believe in karma, but I’ve seen it happen….

Yeah, thanks. Because you never have a strong opinion about a team.

I wasn’t trying to low rate you, if it came off that way it was unintentional.

Go Hogs!

I think Bama’s guards are too good for the zags. It’s gonna take a off shooting night for the zags to win. Add in the depth Bama has and it’s gonna take a perfect game by the zags to win

Zona / Tennessee gonna be a barn burner. I think Zona wins because of those size but honestly it’s a toss up

Kentucky/ Ucla will be good as well. Everything here points to UCLA winning but it’s just like Kentucky to pull off a win and quiet doubters for a bit. Needless to say I’m excited for all these games.

t would be nice to get a more comfortable win. Close games are fun, but constantly being in close games can wear one down a bit.

Gonzaga is good though. #9 in RPI, all 3 losses in Q1. At least one of those by 1 point. Hopefully we're good enough to put them away.

We get a breather in our final OOC game during the initial OOC slate (Jacksonville State) then we open conference play with MSU, Ole Miss, Kentucky, and Arkansas - 3 of those 4 are currently ranked.

It is nice being #1 in rebounds per game and #3 in blocks per game in the country. Having a top 20 offense as well, and when you consider who we've played, it does feel good. Doesn't feel like those numbers were boosted against scrubs.

Yea we heard how good Gonzaga and their number 1 overall seed was last year. We found they weren't very athletic and didn't like good defense at all. I think you win this one.

Tennessee will likely be without JJJ and Vescovi so it won’t be a good game. Need to shut both of them down till SEC play. Arizona by 15+.

Gonzaga defense looks horrible, just slow. They did let the Vols score 99 on them in their scrimmage so not surprising as we have trouble breaking 60.

Happens when the NCAA forces you to fire your coach and the banks forget to take his name off the account.

All but 2 players transferred

Hopefully it gets back on track but the NCAA sanctions fairy never wants LSU basketball to rise. Meanwhile Az, UNC and Kansas skate. LSU is their SMU

We are so bad. Even teams we are 1-2 pt favorites against end up blowing us out.

We might be the next team to etch their names in the winless in conference for a season column. We may only nab one from a sheer probability standpoint but we certainly won’t be favored in any.
