We also have an unclaimed 1908 football national title. We were 1 of 3 teams that year to have an organization retroactively claim us as national champions. Specifically we are NCAA recognized as co-national champions with Pennsylvania that year. We had an undefeated 10-0 record but we're accused of professionalism during champion voting period and were subsequently snubbed a title. Eventually the accusations were proven false after investigation but it was too late as the voting had already been concluded.
The NCAA only recognizes 14 Alabama football national titles.
