Leaving the Big 12 for the SEC bump in recruiting. Also oil money lol. OKC based Continental is the largest independent oil company in the World. Devon Energy who's owner owns the Thunder. And Kaiser Francis in Tulsa.

Clay Bennett does not own Devon Energy. George Kaiser is a Harvard grad and couldn’t care less about sports. He bought Aubrey’s stake in the Thunder purely for investment and civic reasons. I doubt the man has attended one game as a minority owner.
