But, but, but,...... it was just 2900 bets. I went through help for my problem. I am cured and ready to get on with my life, you can bet on it.

Admittedly, I got sucked into a trip down memory lane there a bit. That and back to back to back to back conference calls

The Longhorn network was the reason all those teams left.
It was one of the many reasons the Big12 fell apart, but not the only reason. It technically didn't launch (2011) until most of the schools were out the door. But it was no secret that Texas was pursuing their own network and had been working on that for a few years at that point. It was was seen as yet another way Texas was trying to take revenue out of the conference coffers.

You do know that 2 Texas football players and other athletic staff got caught gambling in 2025. Only punishment required was to repay the bets. NCAA did nothing else.
Have you looked at the NCAA efforts in this case? They did not contest one item in the brief Sorsby’s lawyers presented. That’s either incompetence, knew they didn’t have a case because of their past actions (ex. see above), incompetence (possible) or they really wanted to lose the case to make a better case for the sports bill to pass. They really want antitrust protection. The NCAA knows they have been neutered by all of the court loses in previous cases.
BTW, the judges court order also also says that no one (entity) can impose punishment on Tech for following the court order. This means any actions can/will result in a lawsuit that the entity is likely to lose - can’t go against a court order.

It’s the reason A&M left, thus also the reason that Texas followed them to a conference Texas never wanted to join. Which is the primary reason of the state of many things in the present state of college football. Texas and ESPN together did the primary things. It is what it is, the only reason Mizzou is here bc the SEC required a partner with A&M to keep the conference at an even number.

Believe me Texas looks down on the rest of you SEC members. They feel that they are too good for you but they lost out on the Big 10 and wanted to go somewhere else because everyone in the Big 12 hated them after being screwed over for years.

that guy is an Aggie pretending not to be an Aggie, he knows exactly how we view them

Nope. ut has made comments over the last few years that make it clear that they think the SEC is lucky to have them. Remarks about academics, etc. Look them up.

Just a reminder that Texas Tech tried to ruin Mike Leach's career for no reason, but now they are currently trying to bend the rules for a degenerate gambler.

They are in desperation mode. He's so desperate he's trying to compare the 2 horn football players with what Tech is doing.
The player that bet on horn sports (basketball) is no longer on the team. The player who bet on non horn sports was cleared to play by the ncaa (I think he should have also been removed from the team fyi).
but this degenerate douche is trying to say they are the same. He's either a troll or just stupid. I'm not sure which is worse honestly.
He's taking the losers approach to arguing at this point. Putting his fingers in his ears and screaming at everyone with no real defense at all.
but to the Tech's credit, most of their fans want him off the team. People like this guy are in the minority.

Naw, they won't lose the game revenue.
What the WILL DO is silently put a hit out on Sorsby game by game to take his arse out and make an example of him. I would seriously not be surprised at this at all.

Thats a short sighted way of looking at it.

I think Gregg Williams is unemployed. Could bring him on as an analyst and let him use his expertise to take Sorsby out.

Explain to me how Texas "lost out on the Big 10". The Big 10 would love to have Texas and a handful of other SEC schools, but the Big 10 was never a serious consideration for a lot of reasons.
When A&M went to the SEC there was a small faction of mostly liberal Texas fans who wanted to go to the PAC. The vast majority wanted to go to the SEC but this was never an option with the AD/leadership at that time.
No Texas fan I knew liked being in the Big 12, and every Texas fan I know now is ecstatic about being in the SEC and other big name programs.
Keep working on not being such a dumbass.

We've graduated to intentionally injuring opposing players

I don't know. But there was also a judicial ruling that Illinois basketball had to play a player who was awaiting a rape trial at the time. He was later acquitted of rape, but you didn't know that at the time that Illinois was ordered to reinstate him to the team.

Two weeks ago, Texas Tech had everyone cheering them on against Sark. Now they're so untouchably radioactive, their own conference mates are boycotting them.
Couldn't happen to a nicer group of morons.
