Sources: The Big Ten is set to pass a rule today that doesn’t allow players to return from the NFL and play for a Big Ten school. Anyone who has declared for the NFL Draft and did not withdraw, appeared on an NFL roster or signed a contract with a pro league cannot be on a Big Ten roster.

Historically, conference rules have generally been upheld in court v. NCAA rules.
But like anything, will probably depend on where it's challenged and who the state judge is.

Think the SEC presidents are set to meet today. We'll see if they follow suit.

Well a couple problems with this. Does the B1G have any teams that have signed players? The two TRO’s justify them being able to compete. Crazy times.

I think conferece rules have generally stood the test of time through adjudication.

LSU is a voluntary member of the SEC.

If they wanted to be on the "up and up," they should have passed a rule that conference members who video/visually observe opponents practices/games for the purpose of signal stealing get banned from any post-season games and forfeit any past games won with the benefit of signal stealing.
THAT was CHEATING. What Lane and Wade (and many others in college sports) are doing is legal per the courts. Also, MANY schools and the NCAA have allowed professional players from other sports to play college football in the past with nobody crying like little babies.

The NCAA can't stop a professional player from returning to college. Meanwhile, Tennessee LB Arion Carter remains suspended by the NCAA for accepting a $427 flight.
You have to admit, nobody "strains out the gnat and gulps down the camel," like the NCAA.
