MSU Beat Michigan 52-11 the same Bowl Season

The fact that you had to remind us shows the pitiful state of MSU football. Everyone remembers when the mighty Arkansas fell in a legendary upset at the Superdome. I honestly cannot even remember what bowl Mississippi State went to that year.

I'd compare it to a minor speed bump. Maybe our sixth best win of the year.

Nobody should talk smack about a guy taking a job as a hc. Unless he takes a 400k pay cut for the hc job. Then you will be harassed relentlessly.

Not much competition. He was the only big name hire.

I believe Wisky beat #1 Ohio State on two occasions under Bielema.

And you would be wrong. Ole Bret beat t OSU one time.
Fact is , he simply could not win the big game and therefore he is the best hire......for Arkansas as they have never been able to win the big game either.

Arkansas is indeed aTm's Super Bowl. They beat us for the first time in 20+ years (not to mention it was one of our worst teams in the same timeframe) and all of a sudden they're a powerhouse. We'll put them back where they belong soon enough.

Bielema and staff will do a good job.
I think it will take a season for Bielema to fully understand what it takes to win in the SEC, and he'll work hard to get there.
Having some SEC experience in the assistants will help a good bit though.

You guys have said this about every coach when hired, no?

Same old song and dance.

Trophy case still empty and directions to ATL still in the TRS-80 on lock down.

They* have thread on their team site that basically states that whoever eventually didn't turn down the job was to be propped up as the best/greatest coach in the history of organized sports. It's the reason that have disowned HawgAlude...he broke ranks of "team delusion"
