Maybe because people use social media for everything.

If Tim is truly close to Tate and his family, I'm sure he has the means to get into direct contact with him and his family to let them know his intentions.

Instead, he takes to twitter like this is some new strategy... or he is just letting everyone know that he is praying for him since you know, how would you get credit for such an act unless you made it public? I mean a DM to Tate would not have let him know or anything...

Furthermore, why bring up his shoulder surgery? He could have just said his thoughts and prayers were with the Tate family.

Why put anything about another person whatsoever on Twitter?

Only answer: malicious intent.

So after looking at Tim Horton's twitter.

I've counted since April 1. There's been 16 references to Arkansas, be it former players, current players, former coaches, or people connected to the program. He has a propensity to tweet about deaths in Razorback players families, new jobs/getting drafted, and funerals of older former Razorbacks.

In contrast he's tweeted about Golf 3x, his dinner 2x, meeting former Auburn players 2x, books he read 5x, and current Auburn running backs only 2x.

So Horton cares about Arkansas 8 times more than he does his current players and he care for those players only about as much as what he's having for dinner that night.

Solid hire Gus.

Of which Horton has to tweet any words of encouragement to Kiehl, or give him any tips on books to read, or kolache recipes.

Did I say it was malicious?

I said it was in violation of federal law, I will add it was in poor taste from a guy who had spent the last year having his daddy lobby for him to first become the interim and then the HC at Arkansas...

you are right Les Miles, his staff, and his team work very hard to be relevant.

and it's paid off, on the field and in recruiting.

This is how it starts. One day its all fun and games bitching about coaches, next thing you know Gus is standing on the Hog logo smoking a cigar.

Think of the children.

Smoking a cigar around kids? Seems like a real class act. I guess I will think of the children since Gus obviously doesn't.

This is the part where we see a mutiny with the team trying to turn the cigar into a blunt...correct?
