90% of communication between coaches and ADs is through agents. Rarely is the job offered after the interview.

Lsu insiders reported the same. It is his if he wants it. Then an article comes out that he's comfortable where he is. Sounds like the writing is on the wall. Why do you think more interviews are happening? He either turned it down, still considering it, or working out the details.

But I'm just clarifying your points here:
Bianco was supposedly offered the job Monday without actually coming to Baton Rouge or speaking face to face with anyone from the athletic department.
You claimed that he had possibly already agreed to terms on Tuesday.
But now it seems you've backtracked and only an offer has been extended but Bianco has went on vacation despite an offer allegedly being offered and LSU is supposedly still interviewing candidates.
None of this really lines up.

I haven't backtracked on anything. I may have been wrong about them agreeing to terms but I don't think I was. We should find out soon.

So he was offered the job and they agreed to terms completely over the phone and now he's apparently off to the beach while LSU allegedly continues to interview folks for no reason?

Clearly, Casey was also a candidate. He was in town, did a tour, & interviewed. Again, someone said no to someone. Not sure it matters who.
McDonnell did not participate in the tournament. If he was a candidate he could have already been hired.

I’m feeling more confident than I did a couple of days ago that it’s not Bianco. It seems like there’s a giant smokescreen and none of us know what truly is happening.

What purpose does that really serve? Who are they competing against? A&M was it and we made our hire. Is UT gunna not give Vitello a giant raise because Lsu isn’t interviewing him? I think not.

This part has already been done or at least been put in front of him fwiw, and it is a substantial raise and commitment to the program/facilities. Nothing will happen until we’re ousted though.
