Well it’s not going to be sweating your balls off hot for the auburn lsu game for the first time I can remember with it being in November. I am absolutely looking forward to it, but will also miss playing Uga then. Just going to feel weird. That said, a November day in Auburn 60° during the day and low 40s at night is about as good as you can get. That uga weekend always turns out to be the best weather weekend of the year I feel like.

I'm not trying to toot our own horn, but over the years I've had so many fans of opposing teams compliment Auburn's campus and downtown. Auburn's downtown has improved IMMENSELY over the last 15 years. And it's right next to campus. An easy walk from the stadium to the bars and restaurants. Apparently, that's not the case on a lot of other SEC campuses.

Which one was the best?

Was it on par with mellow mushroom?

I'm an Auburn fan so I'm too biased to say. I did make the trip to A&M last year for the first time and really enjoyed it. Fans were by far the nicest I've seen, almost too nice.

If you've never been to either I don't think you can really go wrong.

I just hope you (and the rest of us) are able to go to games at all this fall.

I’ve been, and I almost went to school there last year I love Fayetteville but I couldn’t make it make sense financially.

Having been to BOTH places for football several times, Auburn is a much better game venue, MUCH better. Go to Auburn.

Well in that case, Auburn. Not sure why anyone would voluntarily go to College Station.

I'd say to conduct cult research, but Waco isn't far down the road

i prefer a&m because we do houston things. i realize you could go to atl but, coming from b.r. that's on the wrong side of auburn. if major msa weren't a consideration, i might lean a little towards auburn because i enjoyed the art museum, the arboretum and i would like to go to the raptor show.

If you’ve already tried all the pizza in Auburn, go to Ma Fia’s in Downtown Opelika. Pizza is lunch only, but all their food is great. Opelika also has 2 breweries and a distillery and plenty more restaurants in the downtown historic area. You should definitely check it out if you are staying in Auburn for a while.

Friend,

Thank you for the suggestion. I am a Teetotaler and believe alcohol should be illegal except that which is served during the Eucharist. I did happen across this lovely building in Opelika today:
