Not that I'd ever have choosen to work in the culinary field (it's grueling) but I think it would be really interesting and a challenging curriculum.
Hell I'm down after watching The Bear!

I have been to both Auburn and Fayetteville, both nice places but there is no place like home.

Fayetteville, but it’s hard to get there.
It’s a pretty long drive from most SEC towns but XNA is adding a lot of new direct flights every few month it seems. Wouldn’t surprise me if it becomes an international airport soon with all the Walmart vendors wanting routes to Mexico lol

Drive is beautiful, especially 540 from Alma to Fayetteville. Really is something of an engineering marvel.
While this is true (the bridges along the interstate through there are incredible and is undervalued as far as scenic drives go) a better route to take into town is 23 North. The Pig Trail. It's an incredible drive. Maybe not so much in November though. You need to make that drive when the leaves are still on the trees. Everything looks awash in bright yellow and orange. One of the best drives in all of America, imo.
If you're talking road trips the answer has to be Fayetteville. The drive in is superior to any drive you're going to make in Alabama or Florida. Imo anyways. I've never been to Auburn though and I'm sure it has plenty of appeal as well.
Gainesville, Florida sucks.

One of my best friend's daughter just started in that program a couple of weeks ago. Looks pretty cool!
This is in violation of board rules, sir.

You better have some extra time and be pretty alert if you want to take the Pig Trail. But yes it's beautiful.
The old road up from Alma/Ft. Smith before they built was dangerous as hell and morbid. They used to have signs posted up and down that road about who got killed where.
It took some doing to go to a game in Fayetteville back in the day if you lived on the other side of the Ozarks.
I will say that there is one thing that is cool about a November trip to Fayetteville. With the leaves gone, you can get on the streets north of downtown and see Old Main sitting high on the hill. It is really cool looking. When the leaves are on the trees it's hard to find a spot where the view is not obstructed. But Old Main sits on a high spot and it looks really stately in winter up there above the rest of campus and town.

Oxford, Starkvegas, Fayetteville, Tuscaloosa, Collective Station, Knoxville & Nashville, IMO, were all better trips than Gainesville

Auburn is ghetto
That's a first.
Fayetteville and Auburn are head and shoulders above Florida for sure. I've been to Fayetteville twice and enjoyed them both. Been to Florida twice and one of them was one of the 3 worst football game trips I've been on.

The only game I've been to was the UGA-AU with Cam at the helm, so maybe I was just miserable, but I didn't see alot of food options. We did stay close to the stadium and were on foot the whole time.
Auburn has grown A LOT since then.
To me it's kinda grown too much too fast because I was there 2003-2007. It still had the "small town charm" back then with a few options as far as bars and restaurants so there was always something to do. I think my last time in town was '18 or '19 and it has just exploded. It's a completely different place from my time there. Not that it's all bad as the food options have gotten really, really good. It's just very different than what I think of when I remember my time at Auburn.

Auburn has two of the best rated restaurants in the State and now has many more. Auburn is growing fast and is considered one of the best towns in Alabama (and nationally ranked). Auburn High School is now the largest HS in Alabama.
