I am also not trying to say that OM-LSU is better than TSIO, but rather trying to see what the SECr thinks of these games.
It's typically a better game.

LSU can't compete with Bama or a handful of others historically, but they are a top 10-12 program all time
This is true. There's a drop off after Bama, though Tennessee, Auburn, LSU, and maybe Florida and Georgia are in that next group.

As a BAMA fan I think its definately Bama-Tenn, but I will also be watching the LSU-Ole Miss game
LSU by 3 TDs
LSU by 3 TDs

Both teams are pretty mediocre historically

And to put it another way, I don't think either Ole Miss or LSU would whine about playing each other every year if they were in different divisions.

I was given my first "Go To Hell LSU" button by my grandfather before I could even read what it said. I'm biased, but I think the LSU/OM rivalry is bigger than Bama/UT. The Bama/UT match was always a big game to watch growing up every year, but I never saw the hatred and passion in that game by the fans compared to OM/LSU rivalry.

UM vs LSU for me. LSU fans feel like they are a superior program, but Ole Miss always makes a game of it. It is funny to watch.

The Bama-UT game used to be a big time game. It will take some time before it gets back to that level. Vols have really been disappointing and I would like to see them get back, but.....
LSU-Ole Miss is a game I really like to watch unless I am attending an Auburn game. Right now I consider it a better rivalry.

The Bama-Tenn is definately not what it used to be, but the Bama-Tenn hatred historically is greater than the Bama auburn hatred.

Uh.
Several of us are still whining that they moved the game from the last Saturday in October (even in years when it still makes that date).
We don't belong in different divisions. And if we had been put in different divisions way back in 1992 then I can assure you that the Rebels and Tigers running the show back then would have made sure LSU-Ole Miss was the permanent for each team just like they did for AU-UGA and TSIO.
In the eighties, all LSU and Ole Miss had was the LSU-Ole Miss rivalry.

I would say UT is second, and then you get to UGA and LSU, and then the next group, not far behind, is AU and UF.

I'll go with Ole Miss/ L.S.U., but I'm also guilty of having lived for a while previously in Oxford and the L.S.U dominated MS coast.
I did see one of the funniest things I've ever seen at an Ole Miss/L.S.U. game at Mississippi Memorial in Jackson, maybe 85, 84, 86. As halftime approached, the L.S.U. band started coming down to get on the field for half time. I don't know who was leading who, but the band wound up dead ending into the handicap seating deck. It was just like that scene in Animal House where the band marches into the dead end alley. Laughed my arse off.

LSU vs Ole Miss
TSIO
Not that it is all that important or answers the question, but does OM vs LSU have a name?

OM vs LSU easily IMO
TSIO has featured winning streaks of 11, 7, and 7 by Alabama and one streak of 7 in a row by Tennessee.
Statistically it is almost even.
Looking since 1990 both series are identical in results, LSU leads 14-10 and Bama leads 14-10
Avg Scores
LSU 26.2
OM 24.5
Bama 22.16
Tenn 18.79

Why are you a Cal fan?
I am going on 3 years IRL of playing as them in an NCAA video game dynasty. Also know some people that live out there so I have seen Berkley. Cool place outside the liberals.
