unfortunately for the world renowned Texas A&M University, they're matched against a regional at best WNC team that lost its entire defensive front 7 and return a shoddy secondary

Conversely, A&M faces an offense that basically returns everyone and has to replace 6 out of its starting front 7.

Let me get this straight.

aggy is the most important opponent for Texas and can never be replaced
But
aggy plays 3-4 home games now that are as important as Texas.

Seriously aggy needs a reality check.
Texas played USC last year at home. A 5-7 USC team is still better than aggy.

Talk about aggy delusional thinking.

Jimbo is not a top 5 HC. No Top 5 HC has a 5-6 season his last year at F$U.

Who even knows Clemson's fight song.
aggy has an entire fight song about Texas.

The total package of LSU/Texas blows it out of the water.
Everyone knows Texas and LSU. You can turn on a TV and say that is Texas vs LSU.
Clemson vs aggy? You will wonder who Clemson is playing. Most would think Miss State.
LSU/Texas in BR is going to be even bigger in 2020.

I don't know which game will be better, but I do know that out of these four teams, aggy is fathoms beneath the other three in stature. Anyone arguing otherwise is either aggy, or toying with aggy in a most cruel fashion.

For all the talk of Texas brand, they only have won 3 national titles, 2 in the poll era.

Is Clemson more prestigious than Texas? This is the rant so I don't expect a coherent answer.

what makes Texas football 'prestigious"? a fanboy says so?

if Texas is more prestigious than Clemson, how did Clemson match the number of national titles that Texas has, and in a shorter period of time.

i don't get how a fooball program can be prestigious. it is a game.

Texas has actually only won one title since scholarship limits, and that is because of Vince Young.

They integrated in 1970 so they've got that title too.

The prestige in that sense doesn’t even have to be based on success in terms of titles necessarily. I think the way I look at it is by who is known. I could show pretty much anyone in the country a texas logo and they would be able to instantly tell it’s Texas. While Texas doesn’t have that many NCs, the point is that they were consistently competing for a longtime, are in one of the best tv markets in the country, and had the right marketing to make their prestige grow.

Texas was involved in the two biggest football games in history.

Clemson has won some NC but they will be quickly forgotten.

The 1969 game was the 100th anniversary of CFB. The POTUS was at that game. The Texas/Arkansas game still has the highest rating ever for a CFB game with over 50% of televisions.

Plus the 2006 Rose Bowl.
It has been 13 years and people are still talking about that game as if it was yesterday.

Has the highest rating for all CFB games in the modern era. These are games that aren't controlled by the NCAA. Post 1989.

Not all NC are equal.

And yet, they continue to do nothing of significance. Cannot even win a completely terrible conference, because they are OU's bitch

But yet, Charles, you and all your fricking alters come to this board like flies on shite. How many do you have? Montgomery Hill, Smart Post, Aleblanc, Randolph Duke, plus all the ones that got fricking banned?

And every time you show up, any discussion becomes worthless. But that is because you are a worthless piece of shite. I’m glad you are a t-sip. It’s fitting.
