I guess LSU will have to bring the party.
Didn't you learn that you control your environment. Even my dog understands that and he licks his arse.

Better game in terms if audience and score will be LSU/UT easily.

A&M didnt get Clemson led by Lawrence. Itll be a blowout. That's not a knock on A&M. Clemson will be in the natty again.

And I think Texas keeps it within 10 points but lack of experience downs them in the 4th.

Jimbo has one. Orgeron or Herman will never have one.

Miles also has one. Is he a top 5 coach in college football right now?

Could you imagine Kansas fans making the same argument you are.... FSU is a MUCH easier route to a Natty than A&M. I don't think Jimbo wins another one.

Yea but you know where Jimbo didn’t win that ring? Texas A&M. There is no garuntee that what worked at another place will work at a&m for him

And without Jameis Winston, he's a perfectly pedestrian coach even though at FSU he pulled elite recruiting classes every year. Look at the losses to unranked opponents he piled up while at FSU.

He's a Les Miles: does less with more and lives off one national title.

No, Jimbo is not a top 5 coach. Not even close.

Who can tell? Seriously, nobody knows how these early season games will play out. Every year about half the preseason top 25 turn out to be dramatically over rated poo.

Other then a bowl win over a sulking Georgia team Texas has shown a marked tendency to get whipped by physical teams. That is right up Coach O's alley.

I imagine A&M will play Clemson fairly close, because Clemson is one of those squads that seem to take a game or to get rolling. With no insult to the Aggies I don't think they are at the level of the Tater Heads this year. I'd love to be wrong and watch A&M destroy them, I just don't think it will happen.

Meh under Herman Texas has been physical and every game Texas lost was by one score or less. LSU could beat Texas but it won't be a whipping. Texas literally plays physical football the game footage proves this.

Yes, but Texas loses to teams like Maryland regularly. Herman also had the distinction at UH to get whipped by lesser teams such as SMU

Given all the starters that Texas has to replace, early season will be rough for the horns

It's their biggest game in Austin since A&M left the conference. Their home schedules the last several years have been pathetic. I could see them getting up for this game.

They will get up for the game - until they fall behind on the field. Then you will see the typical Texas crowd, probably with trash being thrown on the field and the like

A&M isn't beating LSU either if it makes you feel better. Fisher is a great coach, but one has to be realistic

While I rest easy in the knowledge that Texas is the center of all evil in the universe I'd be happy if you were right.

I loathe the Longwhorns. I think you are the scum of the Earth. But darn it... I want you to be a really good football team when I declare you are garbage. A Texas team as limp and useless as Bill Cosby's pecker in prison isn't any fun to mock.

Clemson-A&M is a better matchup. Clemson playing anyone with a pulse right now is compelling, and A&M is in a much better place with Jimbo.

But LSU-Texas will be the more competitive game.

The global brands of college sports

lol why stop the hyperbole at global when you could’ve gone universal? They are national brands. Other countries don’t really care about American collegiate sports.

Oh how wrong you are. You see people in other countries all the time with gear from the global college sports brands.

No, I’m pretty spot on. The only people in other countries who care about collegiate sports are Americans living in those countries and maybe foreigners who came here for university. I’ve been to London, Madrid, and Rome and never saw a local sporting SEC gear or any American college for that matter.
