Darren Mcfadden and Felix jones combined ran for 487 yards vs us in 2007..... Mcfadden had 321, Jones 166...WE won Darren the heisman that year....before we then decided we liked Tebow better

Darren McFadden, 2007 at BD. Gashed us for 195 yds, a man among boys. Tide still managed to win it on a TD pass with 8 seconds remaining. Not much D in the game, but maybe the most exciting game I've ever attended.

Darren McFadden should have won the Heisman.

Herschel Walker against Ole Miss in Oxford. Georgia was on the Ole Miss 8 yard line. They called a dive play. Herschel dove over the line, flipped and landed on his feet around the 3 yard line and walked in. Never seen anything like it before or since. Truly the greatest RB ever.

Marcus Lattimore in every game he ever played. Nobody could stop him.

We absolutely blew the 2011 game with awful turnovers and special teams play, but they still don’t win that game without his great performance.

Steve Slaton in the ‘06 Sugar Bowl is up there, too.

All 3 Arky RBs (DMC, Felix Jones, and Peyton Hillis) vs LSU in 2007.

I think all 3 might have had 100 yards. They definitely all 3 broke long TD runs.

Edit: I was wrong: DMC had 209 and 3 TDs on 32 carries, Hillis had 89 yards and 2 TDs on 11 carries, and Jones had 85 yards on 9 carries and didn't score.

Edit 2: Hillis was also their leading receiver with 5 catches for 62 yards and 2 TDs.

Not the best numbers, but Marcus Lattimore as an 18 year old freshman taking 40 carries between the tackles vs UGA in 2010 was really fricking impressive.

McFadden threw a 24 yard TD pass to Hillis in that game as well.

Darren McFaddens freshman year (2005) against Georgia at Sanford Stadium. Think he went for almost 200 that game and damn near led them out of there with a win/

When he hit that hole and flew past our safety Greg Blue for a 70 yard TD, I was like "holy fricking shite" that dude is fast.

Adrian Peterson, Oklahoma. I've been next to the guy and he's not that big. BUT, and this is a giant BUT, he is carved out of something stronger than granite. He is one of those backs I was lucky enough to see in person and immediately think "that dude is a legit game breaker".

I remember a story about him. Apparently when he showed up for summer workouts before his freshman season the S&S coach met all the freshman as they got off the bus and made them drop their bags and run 40’s in whatever they were wearing.

Peterson was apparently wearing Timberlands and baggy jean shorts and ran a 4.4.

Darren McFadden and Felix Jones cut up in Baton Rouge in 2007. They broke my heart but damn they were good that day.
They were great, but Shaun Alexander takes the prize here.

I forgot, I also so Shaun Alexander duel with Tom Brady in 1999 Orange Bowl. Shaun had a ton of yards and made the Michigan defense look silly. He'd of had at least a hundred more yards, but we rotated two freshman at tackle for that game and they had like a dozen penalties between the two of them. Many of those penalties called back huge gains for Shaun. BAMA ultimately lost the game on a missed extra point.

How in the world did we not win something with them?
