I'm obviously biased but tell me why Dak Prescott isn't the best QB in the SEC? Legit posts only. I know trashing me will be hard for some of you children. Looking at you LSU fans.

Dak is the best athlete playing quarterback in the SEC. He is not the best quarterback in the SEC.

Well, he is the most experienced and the most proven. It's the preseason. Half of us don't know what we have yet. This thread is irrelevant.

I'm interested in seeing how Towles opens it up with a better line, a deeper WR corp, and in Dawson's offense. Prescott is definitely the best going in but he could have some competition.

I do think that Dak is #1 in SEC this year. Not sure how much he has around him though.

Dak is a terrific athlete and a really good college QB, but he lacks accuracy and natural throwing ability, which will hold him back from becoming an NFL QB. Jeremy Johnson will be the best QB in the SEC and has ability that will translate to the pro game. His pro potential is limitless. Could wind up being the best QB in AU history after all is said and done.

I feel like he's two slow in his progression and reading the defense. He's better than Kyle Allen now because of his experience, but I think KA with another season under his belt would be well ahead of Dak. Plus, his arm isn't very impressive.

He's really not. Dobbs and both Harris' are a lot better athletes, possibly even Johnson and KA, he just has an innate ability to make plays with his feet a la Johnny, but he ain't outrunning anybody. He's relatively slow.
