During the McFadden years, Arkansas had no passing attack at all. Everyone they played had eight or nine in the box and it’s amazing what the Arkansas running backs accomplished.

I think y’all’s QB Dick in the 07 game was like 2 of 9 for like 20 yards

McFadden/Jones for me
2017 Bama gets my vote for overall room tho.
Scarborough
Damien Harris
Josh Jacobs
Najee Harris
Brian Robinson Jr
5 NFL starters and 2 first round picks.

If "tandem" means two-headed monster and not one giant monster and a smaller one who'd become big later, then it's Mcfadden/Jones for me. DM is one of a handful of skill position guys who scared me every time he touched the ball, and Jones was an excellent complement.
Cadillac/Brown would be second.
Playing in the early 80s, Dalton Hilliard and Garry James were LSU's all time best two-headed monster.

2018 Alabama was crazy deep:
-Damian Harris (NFL starter)
-Najee Harris (1RD, NFL starter)
-Josh Jacobs (1RD, NFL starter)
-Brian Robinson (NFL starter)

2006 game in LR.
3-17, 29 yds (21 on a single TD pass) and 1 interception.
0-for-8 in the second half
Literally the absolute worst QB performance anyone has ever seen.
And that team should have won the SEC and beat National Champ Florida if not for a muffed punt.

quote:You forgot about the white boy who ran all over Alabama when Brown and Caddy were hurt and couldn't play in the IB.
I mean it's hard to argue against Cadillac Williams and Ronnie Brown by themselves, but when you throw Brandon Jacobs in the mix, that bunch gives McFadden/Jones/Hillis a run for their money.
It still amazes me that Jacobs could barely sniff the field because he had two first rounders playing the same position. Then went on to have a pretty good NFL career.
