It is because of Malik Murphy, Ewers back up who looked really solid in the spring game. He was injured his whole true freshmen year and is finally back to participating. He was once a five star and ended up a very high ranked four star out of high school.

I agree. Texas ranking that high is suspect. Manning is an unproven qb from a private school where competition isn’t that hard. Ewers didn’t look that great either. Do they have some super secret awesome qb that none of us know about?

We have a new QB in 2023.
I don't expect the same efficiencies on 3rd down and the red zone that we had in 2022.
But I do expect better results than 2021.
UGAs QB room is looking great.
