Austin Allen.

Extremely accurate and has a big arm.

Tough as nails.

He took a hell of a beating Saturday night and just kept getting up for the next play.

I'm sure the San Fernando Valley Thundercats are drooling over him right now... Arena League isnt for everyone though.

Still Chad Kelly. Was extremely impressed with Allen Saturday night though.

I'll hold my judgement on him until he plays real defenses

Another game like that for Allen and he'll be on crutches. He got lit up and if just one of those hits gets a knee or ankle, he's done for the year. Arkansas might want to dial down the QB drops and keep the passing game short and quick. With that said, he's a damn good QB.

For Auburn's offense, I'd take in this order:

1. Chad Kelly
2. Trevor Knight

Allen is pretty good though.

I have to say - there are definitely more good QBs in this conference than there were 2-3 years ago. It used to be a fairly weak position across the conference. Now, there are several legit future NFL QBs in our midst.

I don't know if he is the best, but AA has sure exceeded my expectations.

A lot of team QBs are going to get beat up by the Aggie defense. Those guys are good.
