Auburn also has a logo that looks like #5 & #6 above, tiger head with the little hat. Serious question, do we know which one came first? Did one team copy the other, or did some agency design the same thing and sell it to two schools? Or did they both copy it from some other, older logo...

The logo on the left. I actually had a few decals made with this logo to put on cowbells.

Why does the A&M Sargent have a 5 o clock shadow?
Facial hair isn’t allowed in the military. Unless he has a profile or that’s based on him being in the field for a while

I was just researching my own question and found this article that states the logo was created in the 1930's by an artist named Arthur Evans for a company in California called Angelus. Arthur Evans designed a ton of famous college logos. In Agnelus' literature they call it the "Auburn Comic Tiger", but they aren't sure who actually used it first, and it has been used by Occidental College, Princeton, Auburn, LSU, and Mizzou.

Hmmm. Not sure.
He doesn’t always.
He’s a good Ag, though.

I kind of like the flying M, it’s the only one of those three that we’ve actually used on a helmet.

What does it mean/what’s the significance?
Not going to lie, I’m a tad confused by it.
