Good God, the early 2000’s were horrible. My favorite on this list is the methed out Kentucky Wildcats. That was one strung out little kitty

I disagree, but that's probably just because I'm nostalgic towards them because that's when I started watching football. The good old days of the early Richt era and playing NCAA on the PS2.

Vandy always had some sharp logos -Never got enough respect.

Also, the 80’s cursive ‘Vandy’ helmet was great but I can’t find it anywhere.

This what you were referencing?

Also, Vandy's media guide calling them a "football power of the South"

That’s it - so 80’s awesome it hurts.

And I think that was the year they went 7-4 and went to the All-American bowl, so that explains that comment.

Can't believe it took that long to post the UK logo from the 90s. That's the one they changed b/c they said it looked like a cock in his mouth

I am not a big fan of the MSU logo. But I love the M over S and the Walking Bully.

I have an unhealthy hatred for this logo. Why are the L and S running away from the V and O?

If you look close you will see that the Gator teams in the 90s wore this logo on the the side of their pants right below the belt.

While not "old", I've always liked this Tennessee logo with the state outline:

I'm only posting this again so that we're all clear. Don't ever post this logo again, especially on a "best" list.

While current, this is still the greatest logo in the SEC in any sport:

Never noticed that before. My earliest CFB memory is watching either the 92 SECCG or the Gator Bowl later that month when we beat NC State. Good catch.
