Best live mascot is Mike, and it's not even close. I can't put him up for best overall because they won't bring him into the stadium anymore. Colorado or Florida State probably have that.

you'd have my vote for Mike if he was allowed to run on the field pregame. That would be something else.

Hard to beat Mike, but as far as canines go, I would go with Smokey in the SEC and maybe Dubs as the best in NCAA.

He's owned by the university and lives on campus, 20 yards from the football stadium.
His predecessors all went into the stadium.
