Butler was very good, but I wonder what the tee played in the game before they swithced.

That is a fair point and it (the tee) probably helped a bunch on the 60 yard FG that beat Clemson as time expired in 1984

BUT, Kevin Butler was one of the top PKs in the NFL for a long time, in fact, he was instrumental in the Bear's super bowl season - all without the aid of a tee, picked up right where he left off in college

So, even without the tee, he would still have been one of the all time greats in the NCAA

Not the best of all-time, but Ace Sanders had some great PR’s in his day.

Since 2000, Johnny Townsend has the highest punting average and punt yardage in the SEC.

Auburn is easily Kicker U of the last 10 years.

Daniel Carlson, all-time leading scorer in SEC History (#5 in NCAA), 3× Groza finalist, 3x All-American

Cody Parkey, Pro Bowler

Wes Byrum, one of the most clutch kickers ever. Two of the biggest kicks in Auburn history, to beat Tim Tebow and Florida in the Swamp in 2007 and to win the 2010 National Championship. Both as time expired.

Bowl,

You left out Damon Duval. He was the kicker and punter both from 99-2002. Hit 3 game winners in 2001, including one over then number 1 ranked Florida in The Swamp.

Also, can't forget Win Lyle and John Vaughn.

Cadillac Williams returning punts in 2004 was ridiculous.

It wasn't just one player, but Tre Mason, Ontario McCalleb combo was probably one of the best ever. You couldn't kick away from one, cause the other would take it to the house too.

I think Kicker had to come down to Auburn and Georgia. I can't think of a time in the last 40 years that Auburn had a bad kicker and having trouble remembering a time when UGA had a bad kicker.

Javier Arenas is definitely up there as far as best punt returners.

Punt Return Yards: 1,752 (#1 SEC, #2 NCAA)
Punt Return Yards Per Return: 14.0 (#4 SEC, #22 NCAA)
Punt Return TDs: 7 (#1 SEC, #4 NCAA)

Throw in Terry Daniels too.

All American punter that was launching 70 yarders. He was the one Jackie Sherrill accused of inflating balls with helium.
