Tiger Stadium has great atmosphere but the architecture wasn't impressive, IMO.

Actually, it is. Over the past 5 years.........not so much. When we are good and there is excitement around the program, Neyland can be one of the loudest in the country

I think Bryant Denny has the nicest interior architectural design, but the outside looks like shite with those cylinder shaped ramps

Bryant Denny looks fantastic now. It was nothing special in 15 years ago. Now it looks great

Love the scenery and landscape but not impressed with the atmosphere at all. This was pre-2007 too

I knew someone would figure out that Kyle Field is fake.
It was a dead give away when both Kyle and the Sochi hotels used batshit as the primary architectural adhesive.

Is there another stadium in the conference built into the natural landscape the way that Sanford is? Faurot maybe? Place like Tiger Stadium, BDS, and Neyland are all nice enough in their own way, but they stick out like sore thumbs in their respective landscapes. I've always like how Sanford is literally built into the dead middle of campus. I don't think there are many other stadiums that have done the same thing.

I went to the LSU/UGA game this year and came away very impressed with Sanford, the way it's built into the UGA campus. Just a beautiful stadium imo. Only complaint I had with the stadium was there was only 1 concession stand in the Tech deck at the top

Have you even been there? Even now when they suck, a night game at Neyland with 100k+ hillbillies is one of the best atmospheres in the league. I can't imagine how loud it was when they had Peyton and 107k+ crammed in there. Maybe they don't get as crazy for LSU but idk how you could come away unimpressed otherwise.

Usually have to go to early stadiums that are still standing. Nippert (UC's) is built between classrooms and dorms. Schools that rebuilt in the 1970's in a new footprint seem to be the ones far from campus core.

No doubt, it was rocking in '12 (at least until the fourth quarter).

Not in '94 (31-0) and '96 (35-0 before halftime).

A&M's is on the south part if campus but it's across the street from the student center, a block from the quad (corps), and about a 5 min walk to academic building (what I consider the middle if campus.) couldn't have picked a better spit IMO.

I was there as well. That was the loudest Id heard it in years (until the 4th) When we ran throughout the T it was almost deafening
