Tyrann was great for 1 season

He was great for 2 seasons, but his sophomore year was phenomenal. As a freshman, he led the SEC in forced fumbles and fumble recoveries and was freshman All-SEC. He was also incredible in the bowl win and was named defensive MVP.

Even though I like Tyran, Kevin Faulk at LSU has to be #1

is Tebow really the best to ever play at UF?

don't get it twisted...I hate the Gators...but they have produced a lot of good football players...ever heard of Emmitt Smith?

...and that's just the first one who comes to mind..there are many more

If we're going off of pure talent, it's Patrick Willis hands down.

Y'all never heard of Charlie Conerly?

good list, PT. very good. I say DDawg for Arkansas, too, but he is my friend so Im partial. Oldtimers might say Lance Alworth, aka Bambi.

I think Derrick Thomas is probably nearly unanimous among Bama fans who know what he did
I know what he did.

The answer is still Don Hutson. He owned a considerable number of NFL records until Jerry Rice came along, and still owns some 70 years after he retired.

70 years....

I think it’s John Hannah for Bama.

(Honorable mention is Joe Namath before he tore his knees up)

For Bama - John Hannah was considered the best at his position pretty much every year he played, college or pro. He was the Anthony Munoz of guards.

Give me Johnny Cooks or Fletcher Cox for MSU

Yep!!!

LSU fans what about Billy Cannon: Heisman winner, played offense and defense, punted the ball, and had probably the most famous punt return ever.
