Anthony Johnson
HaHa Clinton-Dix
Denzel Nkemdiche
CJ Mosley

Will be one of the above.

Darkhorse from Bama will be Jeoffrey Pagan. He's a monster.

Dark horse for Ole Miss will be Isaac Gross. Freshman All-American had great first year. Undersized defensive tackle who's putting on some weight during the offseason.

Had 10 TFL, 2.5 sacks, 40 total tackles as a true freshman.

Johnny Football. The leads he gets makes the offense panic and predictable far more than even Clowney.

Clowney has got to be the most overrated SEC player in the last decade.

I've seen some stupid shite on this website, but this takes the cake.

Darkhorse for us will be CB Victor Hampton. Not the brightest star in the sky, but the dude can lock down someone if he can manage to keep his head on straight until September.

define 'dominate' from the DT position... those guys were very good tackles, but did kyle williams reach nick fairley level of domination?

Can't wait to see Prescott run over Clowney and put an end to this mythical beast persona that everyone has given him.

I'll throw in CJ Johnson of OM.
Swann at UGA would be in the conversation.

wouldn't be surprised if jemauria rasco is in this talk at the end of the year. Has all the tools, but was stuck behind mingo and montgomery

Were not dominant tackles. Nick Fairley was dominant. John Henderson was dominant. Glen Dorsey was dominant. Johnson hasn't shown anything to make me think he will approach dominant. So far he has been serviceable, but far from spectacular. I'm not writing him off, just saying I'd be surprised if Anthony Johnson was considered the second best defender in the league come December. If Anthony Johnson wasn't nicknamed "freak" then your fanbase wouldn't prop him up near as much as they do. That I'm sure of

Wroten was dominant. Nevis was close (ask Gator fans). Brockers was not dominant in TFLs or sacks but he was in the Jesse Williams stuff the run mold.

wroten was dominant. brockers was a dominant run stuffer. As for nevis, maybe you should go back and watch the 2010 bama game or you could go back to threads after the '10 season when everybody was asking how we would replace him

I consider a dominant DT a guy that causes absolute havoc game in an game out. The only ones I can remember doing that are Fairley, Henderson, and Dorsey. Guys like Lavalais, stroud, fletcher cox, marcel Dareus approach that echelon, but aren't guys I'd consider dominant. There is a sizable difference in my opinion between really good players and dominant players.

As of right now Johnson isn't even a really good DT. If he was a 3* out of high school without a nickname and had done everything the same at lsu, he wouldn't be brought up in this discussion.

You are entitled to your opinion, but an opinion that begins with Lavalais wasn't a dominant DT that caused havoc game in and game out is pretty easy to identify as mistaken.

In 2003 alone
National Defensive Player of the Year
61 tackles, 16 TFLs and a team-leading 7 sacks.
