Either Dye or Richt. Both had some bad luck, especially Dye in 83.

OP ended the thread before it even began. Snyder is the correct answer and there is not a close second. What he did at Kansas State would be the equivalent of someone going to Kansas now and turning them into a regular 9-10 win team who finds themselves in the national championship hunt in December every 5 years or so.

Fsu former baseball coach Mike Martin. He has the most wins in college baseball history but got close in the world series but could never get over the hump.
