For LSU 2003-2007:
56-10 (85%)
2 National Championships
2 SEC Championships
3 trips to Atlanta

Most of the Big 6 outside of Bama’s ridiculous runs would probably be similar to this.

The now includes turning on the TV to Wimbledon and WNBA Basketball. You plan on starting topics on that?

OU 1954-1958

2 National titles
5 Conf titles
47 straight wins
Record 51-2

Little known fact. They missed going to 2 bowl games due to conference not allowing consecutive bowl game appearances.

I would say it’s 1964-1968. Arkansas went 43-9-1 with 3 SWC titles (64, 65, 68) and 1 MNC (64). 1967 was a bad year but the other four were good to great years.

My guess is 86-90 with a record of 47-10-3 and 3 SEC titles (2 shared)

For Alabama I think it would be 2011-2015: (89.8%)
62-7
3 National Championships
3 SEC Championships

I’d say probably 1938–42. Tennessee went 48-5-1 over that stretch. That's a winning percentage of .888. They won two national titles and three SEC titles in that span. And yes before anyone says anything, I’m aware that 1939 isn’t a consensus title. Maybe the most impressive thing is that in those 48 wins, they posted 30 shutouts.

Probably right before the japs bombed Pearl Harbor.

Funny luck. Mississippi State was a solid program, just won our first SEC title in 41 then bam. Hirohito decides to get feisty with the US and all our boys sent to the South Pacific (several didn’t come back) and we really never recovered

Downvotes prove how enviable this run was. 57-10 football run and a Heisman, too.

Those were the exact years I was in college. I stayed an extra year to finish my double major, which wound up not mattering at all because I didn’t enter either field.
