SDS spells it out nicely in their recent article.

quote:

Oddsmakers have named LSU coach Ed Orgeron as one of the college coaches most likely to be fired this season.

In the less than three weeks since preseason camp began, three players have been suspended after running afoul of the law, another player saw the NCAA uphold his suspension for tampering with his drug-test sample and two quarterbacks have left the program.

Ingram was suspended indefinitely at the start of preseason camp for an undisclosed reason. It was later learned that he is facing charges of aggravated sexual assault of a minor.

Taylor was suspended Aug. 8 when it was learned that he was arrested in May for allegedly being the getaway driver in the burglary of a Georgia pawn shop.

Davis was suspended last Friday after being arrested in Baton Rouge for allegedly punching and grabbing his former girlfriend by the throat on multiple occasions.

Honestly LSU's August might be worse than OSU's. shite.. I'd give my left nut to have Orgeron suspended for 3 games. Then Aranda could have the keys

Good call.

I'm starting to worry about the LSU fanbase. They're in for a very long season and I don't think they're equipped to handle it.

I don't know about others who follow LSU football, but I don't see how this
is making LSU have a bad August?

They are getting used to let downs so i think they will be fine. I was worried last year but seems like they've accepted their fate for the next 10 years perennial 4th best team in the west.

The stupid thing Orangatan is doing is continually trying to sandbag the press. He seems to think keeping bad news secret will avert...well...bad news. Whether it is Key’s mysterious maladies last year or being deliberately misleading about Ingram this year, he has been consistently obtuse and loudly silent. It is already biting his coon arse because NO ONE believes him now...about anything.

“Trust” is a fungible commodity and when it is destroyed it is almost impossible to recover it. He was already operating under a cloud of suspicion. Now he is confirmed as something other than open and honest.

Well at one time he had full support of the local media, they were stumping for him to get the job. He fricking hired one of them. Then State and Troy happened and now they all look like fools.

A couple of player-only meetings should get LSU back on track.
