I mean I can see how people say this because hes not this prolific shooter that takes over a game like steph curry. Hes not a physically dominant post man a la Anthony Davis. Its just kind of ho hum he got a double double...again....20 and 10...again...but he makes it so consistent game after game that this thread being made literally after every game is getting ridiculous.

For the record, I completely disagree with the OP. He is absolutely elite. No one in basketball possesses a skill set like his. I'm not ready to put him up there with great freshmen like Durant, Melo, and Davis just yet.

Dude. He can take the ball and go left or right with ease. And score with either hand when he does that. An excellent passer. When he learns the long range jumper his game will be really really really really really good. He has all of the tools and I am gonna be a fan in the NBA. Love this kid.

He's a better freshman than Anthony Davis was. Davis didn't score near as much as Ben and grabbed about 8 rebounds a game.

Davis was a better defender but he was just the oop man on offense. A garbage point guy. Simmons does it all for his team.
