Winning never gets old.I've lived long enough to watch 2 long dry spells between NCs.The 1st was from 79' to 92'.The 2nd fro 92' to 09'.
So,I know it can be gone with the speed that it arrived.

When i started following Bama in the early 70's we were the dominant team and then, really starting in 81, we went into a funk of averaging 9 wins a year. We were still good but the infighting at Bama had taken over and it meant more for some board to run things than to win (no the REC doesnt run things at Bama). These Board members were bad at their jobs and made us wonder how they became so successful.
Finally, Hootie Ingram became AD and kind of kept the Board in their place and we became a national player again. Then he was removed and the power struggle started again. We went on hideous sanctions that all but ruined our program. Not until Saban said I'll take the job but no interference from you MFers, did we become what we could become again.
If you dont have a strong, STRONG personality, Bama is not the job for you.

If they're so desparate for disappointment, they can always just turn off the TV and look around.

With the recruiting "process" in Tuscaloosa, this is pretty much what the SEC looks like...
Bama vs. the SEC
Bama vs. the SEC

2011 watching LSU curb stomp everyone but Bama was a lot of fun. Blowouts are not fun for the average fan but a ton of fun if it's your team

LSU will beat their gumpy arse. Write it down
Have you written this down the last 5 games? You who lost to Wisconsin and Auburn and barely beat Miss State?

look at USC post Carroll - I'm sure they thought it would never end and look at them now.
Nah, even then I knew it would end eventually, just as your great run will. Enjoy the moment for what it is, because it won't last.

really.. i watched thru the Dubose/Mike Stripper Price & Shula Dumbo years lol
See I always see Alabama fans talk about that, but nothing they experienced then compares to what everyone else experiences. Dubose had one really bad year, but he still managed an SEC Title in 1999.
Francione only sucked for them because he left after a 10 win season.
Shula was a dud but even he had a 10 win season. Sure Alabama may not have been great from 1997-2007 but they still had individual seasons that were better than some teams in this conference have had in 50 years or ever

Believe it or not, it's not boring at all.... The satisfaction that I get from Bama demolishing other teams is borderline sexual...

Watching Bama gets boring, you always know what the outcome will be.

Trust me, it is borderline erotic.

Nah. They just drive their Pintos through the rich neighborhoods, with their Bama tags, hoping they can convince the Auburn fans they've accomplished something in life.

Can you gumps not understand that Les is no longer the head coach?
Our tight end caught 2 balls Saturday.
He caught 4 all of last year
Chark caught zero balls last year. Caught 3 Saturday and got it on a reverse.
They are doing a much better job of getting our athletes the ball in space. You dumb asses have a rude awakening
