Tulsa is far nicer than that whole OKC metropolis.

Tulsa is way better than OKC

Did you see Stallone walking around? Lots oh Ok State fans up there

I said if OU and OSU both go 5-7 they should schedule a home and home 2 game postseason series. Why not

I won't dump on the city of Tulsa....

But it is true. Lots of Oklahoma Aggies, Hogs, and a pretty good representation of Kansas fans in Tulsa. Occasionally you will run into a Tulsa fan there... and once in blue moon... An ORU fan.

One of the more fascinating things in comparing Tulsa to OKC is the disparity in Arkansas fans. Tulsa has a boatloads. But, you just don't see many in OKC. OKC is OU/OSU and of the out of state schools... it is easily Texas.

Okie entered the sec in a similar situation as us in football after the Hatfield leaving, Crowe getting fired, Kines interim and Danny Ford getting hired ordeal. Though they didn’t go through that ordeal they entered with a new coach and a tough situation. But ford took us to the SECCG before he got fired so there is hope. But the sec is stronger now.

Things are changing in college football now with the changes so nothing is guaranteed anymore.

There are some pretty good all you can eat rib places also. Be careful, you can hurt yourself if you like beef ribs.

I know the first thing I do any time I visit a landlocked state is try the seafood.

You do realize that we aren’t a 3rd world country right? Refrigerated air shipments exist for a reason.

Louisville, KY for example has some of the freshest seafood in the country due to the UPS hub delivering fresh seafood every single day, fresher than a 6 hour truck drive bringing grouper from Destin to Huntsville, AL baw

Their fans are soft as shite and are also not SEC ready.

I’ve seen some bad seasons but never let it affect my life. Suck it up and support your team - or earn the label fairweather fan.

I will say, the meltdown reminds me of the Schnellenberger/John Blake years. OU fans practically disappeared. Living in Oklahoma then, those were wonderful times!

Every time a big writer has tweeted something on OU, every fan responds saying this year doesn’t count because of injuries and a bad OC. They all say they will be back to being OU next year. lol

I had completely forgotten about the Schnellenberger fiasco.

I don't know if you realize this...

But that show was actually filmed (season #1) in OKC.

Then they moved filming to KCMO.
