Been there multiple times. It’s not that loud of a place. Is what it is.

I was in Sanford in 2008 and Auburn in 1989. LSU goes nuts when Bama comes to town but Neyland this year was damn near painful. I can't imagine Sanford being worse.

Vols hit 125.4 vs Bama I think we come close on Saturday

Pups always trying to play catch up to your volunteer overlords, in the rankings, in stadium noise, to Hyatt running down the sideline, it’s just sad

This Tennessee team is gonna come into Athens, Ga and get a real surprise. They've already put the W in the win column.

What do you mean? Like several of your recruits will commit to us or something? I mean it’s highly likely, but the bigger question is do we want them to be a part of the dynasty? (Pronounced like Sir David Attenborough; rather than dine-as-ty like you low brow pups would say)

Seriously...does anyone believe they are using calibrated instruments to measure sound wave pressure at these stadiums? Where do they measure it? Are they taking doubling effects into account from the microphone source to the crowd? They also aren't accounting for how different frequencies impact communication. It's just a BS measurement that shows relative sound levels from what they measured at that same point earlier

Thanks Marconi

Sanford is a good stadium but I would say it’s the “quietest” of the Big 6, though still louder than 95% of stadiums out there.

Fair, but that is because the West EZ is open and the sound doesn't stay trapped inside like the other 5 stadiums.

Honestly don't care about the measured sound levels.

Since his first year, Smart has lost a grand total of one home game in Sanford... a noon kickoff where UGA was -4 in turnovers.

That's kind of what it takes for UGA to lose at home. A colossal screw up. I really don't care how much the noise matters or anything else... we play well at home.

It has a lot to do with the device and where the sample is taken. Does anyone really believe that the Chiefs stadium hit the 140’s? I sure don’t. Stanford will be loud enough to cause problems if we aren’t prepared. We survived Death Valley so I’m confident in that aspect.

Good of UGA to set goals of wanting to be just as good as Tennessee.

UGAs issue is getting consistent noise. Sure when the game starts and the cheap ripoff jokers and road warrior wannabes can be on TV they can make some noise, but to maintain it? It’s not what UGA does. Their fans are just too quick to drop them at the 1st sign of adversity.
