"And that counts all those Miami teams, Florida State teams and (the) Southern Cal team when they won the (national) championship," Beamer said at his weekly news conference. "When you look at this team overall, I think they're the best we've ever played."

He faced 2004 Auburn and 2004 USC. Nobody has ever faced 2013 Alabama.

The sad thing is they cherry picked that year to play us after 2002 when they reneged on our home and home.

It's difficult to remember all of the losses to ordinary 2-loss teams. They stack up after a long period of time.
