I do not personally know a single LSU fan that does not think our coaching hiring PROCESS wasn’t a complete amateur shitshow. Aggie handles their hires like a boss. That doesn’t mean that LSU can’t ball out or that Aggie will learn to compete. There are zero givens in CFB except for Saban and Meyer. That’s it, imho.

Coach O will have a better record than fisher this year and still might get fired.

The obvious answer would have been Jimbo, Jimbo was in play at the end of 2015 but Les saved his job with a huge win against A&M. Florida State changed his contract after the 2015 season giving Jimbo a contract with a huge buyout with the boosters on the hook for the majority of the amount after 20 months.

This buyout was insane and LSU fans were furious with the Les Miles buyout so the AD and the big boosters were not in favor of the buyout during coaching search at the end of 2016 season.

The A&M buyout is stupid business and if the answer to you question is would you rather have Jimbo with a 70 million dollar buyout or coach O, then O get the nods.

We shall see if the marriage between Jimbo and A&M brings championships or the typical 8 win season for the Aggies. If they win the SEC West then the arms race is on.

This is a stupid question. Its like asking a guy on a deserted island if he wants, Whataburger unlimited beer, and several beautiful women with low self-esteem .
