Is this news to some people on this board? Because I feel like this is news to some people.
And I just can't fathom how sheltered and uncultured someone has to be to think that Baton Rouge and/or Louisiana is some sort of shining beacon on the hill.
New Orleans is also a shithole. But that goes without saying.

I have been to both New Orleans and Baton Rouge and there are some great places in each.
