Was that the OPs opinion before 3rd and 17 or after Tx ran away to the SEC? Either way, the Longhorns just 4 legged pussies with horns.

And Austin is a Liberal shithole.

Crazy how the city of Baton Rouge is outperforming the whole state of Texas in football national championships.

LOL at the thought that winning some football titles somehow makes it more enjoyable to live in shithole louisiana.

Nah, not an issue. I've lived in both Austin and Baton Rouge. There are good things that I can find to say about both places. Lots of fond memories of both places. But I like College Station too, so who knows. Was in Baton Rouge recently, and likely will be in Austin within the next month. Maybe. The thing that grates on me when I go back to Baton Rouge is the traffic to get across the bridge.

Surfer I was in Austin this weekend, and the traffic rivals Baton Rouge

couyon, you are wanting to be a member of the SEC. Do you think much matters more on an SEC sports forum than winning football titles? Proof positive your institution has no business in the SEC.

Austin is a shitstain on the otherwise Great State of Texas. I can’t hype up Louisiana as a whole, as the state has its share of issues. The biggest positive for Louisiana is the people. I’d much rather live in a nice, hospitable area of Baton Rouge, and South LA as a whole, than have to set up camp in the urban, soulless wasteland that is Austin.

Well it is all a matter of opinion! But would you like to know what isn’t a matter of opinion?
We still your Daddy bitch so sit down and STFU - lol, stupid paint chip eater.

lol, actually you might have picked the one city in Texas that no one wants to move to, that liberal shithole you call Austin.

You mean the fastest growing city in the entire country? That city?

I guess that I don’t have a brain. I lived in Austin for 4 years back in the 80’s and loved it. I went back in ‘14 for a conference. You couldn’t pay me any amount to live there today. Its turned into a shithole. That dumbass aggy governor Dick Perry brought California in there and it sucks. It’s worse than Detroit almost as bad as San Fran.

That’s exactly why I wouldn’t want to move there, especially considering the types that have invaded.

Yeah, you have a point. I guess my frustration level is more of a function of my initial frame of reference. Austin has gotten worse over time especially on 35. I guess Mopac too. But they have all of those toll roads now and depending on where I am going, it helps. I just get a little bent when I go to Baton Rouge now and it seems like things are bogged down well before Port Allen. Luckily sometimes I get to head down LA 1 when my travels keep me on that side of the river.

WTF is your problem? 3rd and 17 still bothering you huh?
Louisiana boasts three of the largest volume ports on the planet - Port of South Louisiana, Port of Baton Rouge, and maybe the largest one in America - Port of New Orleans, which supplies products to the entire country.
New Orleans and Louisiana private and Catholic schools compare with any in the nation - and the the La. Board of Education is continually improving and updating the public school system with Charter school systems and new programs.
Louisiana supplies foodstuffs and agricultural products for the entire nation including rice, coffee, cotton, soybeans, and of course seafood.
Louisiana is the largest exporter of seafood on the planet - seafood is and has been continuously tested even BEFORE the BP Oil Spill.
Louisiana and New Orleans - Hollywood South, is the second largest movie and television production industry in the country.
New Orleans has one of the largest convention centers - The Morial Center - on the planet, and has conventions and shows booked years in advance.
New Orleans has the largest concentration of gourmet fine dining establishments on Earth.
New Orleans is home to the #5 Museum on Earth - The World War II Museum.

Austin is a soy hole.

Is this news to some people on this board? Because I feel like this is not news to anyone on this board not a steer or a queer..
And I just can't fathom how liberal and unmanly someone has to be to think that Austin and/or Texas is some sort of shining beacon on the hill.

The state of Texas owes a lot to Louisiana, and its a-hole politicians from the past century and a half.
