Meh, I’ve seen this type of stuff from Bama before. 1976, 1981, 87, 89, 91,2002, 2004, 2020 only to get smashed in the sweet 16.

We’ll see how this turns out.

Doesn’t matter if you don’t win it all. 8th place champs!

Every long-time Alabama basketball fan knows that pain.

It seems like there are two options with college basketball. Continue having these great seasons until your talent and experience allow you to break through to the Final Four and hopefully make it back two or three times a decade, or have a very average season and luck your way into the Final Four like so many SEC brethren have done.

Alabama Basketball is the sport where I always approach with cautious optimism. We could be undefeated right now with our schedule and I'd still be waiting for the shoe to drop.

No one cares about Bama or TN basketball.

Kentucky, Florida, Arkansas, and Mizzou are historically relevant. In general, however, the SEC is in PAC 12 football version of college basketball.

Attended UGA for my bach and UNC post-grad. Believe me, true basketball blue bloods look at Bama and TN the same way that those two schools view ACC football lol

Y’all are adorable, carry on.

Oh, cool, nobody gives a shite what they think. Our league is better than theirs right now and has been pretty near it's equal for going on 5 years. ACC Football isn't in the same stratosphere as SEC football.

And we do, actually. Attendance over a long period of time makes that pretty clear.

Now I agree, Georgia doesn't care about it. That's fine. But don't lump the rest of us in with you. Alabama and Tennessee have cared about basketball for a long time and have histories of being solid, consistently good programs who have unfortunately come up short in March pretty much every season.

They are clearly the two best teams in the SEC right now.

Begrudgingly, I think Alabama is a Final Four caliber team. As for Tennessee, they will be a really, really good regular season team. I just feel like Barnes is the anti-Izzo in March. Rick has a lot more 1st or 2nd round exits with good teams than he does deep runs in the tournament. That's not to say he can't. This Tennessee team is good enough to do so. It's just that I'll have to see it to believe it.

This is by far our most complete, deep and diverse team in terms of how we can win. We're about as upset/terrible game at the worst time proof as I think we will ever be.

However, it's still college basketball, and we're still Alabama.......so.....we'll see.

Could this be the year y’all match UGA’s final 4 total?

I'm banking on the deal I made with the devil a few years ago trading Alabama football for Alabama basketball and Braves baseball finishing up his side of the deal.

Id say you choked against SC. You were the best baseball team all year and choked at home against ND. youre basketball team choked in the postseason. You had the talent and didnt deliver
