I 100% agree with this comment about rotating teams through campuses. Georgia has still yet to come to Kyle Field and we've been here a decade now.

Are yall reading this the same way? The PODS or some type of permanent rivals yearly/rotate everyone else (not too dissimilar than SEC bball) are clearly the easiest ways to play everyone the most often.

Could be.

Could also be more conference games (9 or 10), so that there are opportunities to play each other more often.

It definitely makes sense for the health of the conference, but I will miss divisions.

That's just my nostalgia of how important the Auburn and Florida games were when I was an LSU student.

Could also be no divisions at all and just a couple permanent opponents.

Could be a division-less, 3 permanent opponents, rotating through other teams schedule.

I don’t see a thing that makes me think pods are necessary for that

Pods are a better way to play more teams. LSU is rarely playing some of the east teams as is

Just get a waiver like the big 12 did.

Definitely agreed that rotation is of upmost importance. What’s the point of being in the same conference if you only play once or twice a decade?

There’s more than one way to skin that cat, but you probably won’t hear any bitching from me as long as the rotation is there.

Nope. LSU has always liked playing Bama. LSU rarely plays Tenn and UGA. Like rarely. Under a pod system LSU would play Bama, just not every year. That is the price paid for expanding. I also would hate to lose the UF LSU game as that is a great series.

I think for branding and simplicity purposes they will go to pods.

They don’t want a legends/leaders situation where casuals had no idea who was in which division or who played who with what frequency

Or we could just say screw the NCAA rules and do what we want.

The NCAA essentially held the same standard for the B12. The problem with the rule, is in order to have a championship game, you need to have some sort of round robin competition

I just hate the term “pods” sounds like it would be a shitty graphic on a fox big 12 broadcast. Just call them divisions.
