At least all 12 Missouri baseball fans get to enjoy Baum every other year.

LSU and Texas A&M rivalry CONFIRMED Permanent opponents in all sports.

Even AI chat tells me it's called the "Gulf War".

The LSU-Texas A&M rivalry is an American collegiate sports rivalry between the LSU Tigers and Texas A&M Aggies. It is colloquially referred to as the Gulf War by many fans.

UK is a good program.

selfishly I would have rather had UGA/UT/Vandy , but UK is solid. Keeping UF was awesome.

Feel like they think football rivalries and baseball rivalries are the same thing with this list. IMO, Ole Miss/State/LSU should all be each other's permanents

You knew it was coming. States touching borders is enough of a prerequisite for these smooth brained suits to sell their bag of shite. Nevermind the fact that the Missouri series is the most dead series of the year every year by far.

I'm a huge LSU baseball guy and I can tell you nobody in Louisiana cares or wants to care about Texas A&M.

The SEC trying to force this rivalry is like your mom forcing you take your annoying home schooled little cousin treat or treating with you.

Arkansas, Florida, Ole Miss & Texas all make way more sense.

??? I take it UM is Ole Miss? Column 1 Ark, Ole Miss (in grey), and Mizzou. Column 2 Ole Miss (in red), State, and Arkansas. Column 3 State, Ole Miss (in grey), and LSU. Column 4 no Ole Miss.

It’s a favor to A&M for keeping them in the dark on Texas/SEC.

Gotta love Texas joining the SEC then not getting paired with any SEC teams.

I approve. State and Arkansas are powerhouse programs, but those are great games and glad to see these series continue on the regular.

Not mad at it. Would've personally liked Texas to draw Arkansas as a permanent as those games have always drawn exceptional crowds. LSU would've been pretty great as well.

I'm assuming this will be a 24-game slate with two permanents and then home-and-homes with the remaining 12 alternating every two years (e.g. 6 non-permanent opponents for 2025-26, and the other 6 for 2027-28)?

So State has the last two national champions (LSU, OM) as permanent opponents. Makes sense, but that makes it tough.

On the plus side, State did win 2 out of 3 against both last year.

I will gladly trade the Mizzou pairing to guarantee LSU every year.

Not gonna be a happy camper the first time I see we don't get that series for an entire year.

Basketball three permanents
Baseball two permanents
Football one permanent

Something doesn't add up

We play 30 league games now. I doubt that number goes down with the addition of the Big 12 yahoos.
