Seriously? They think A&M will get matched up with TCU for the 3rd time in 4 years.

OU, Duke, and Oral Bob would be a nice group to bring in for a regional.

I don't get the high expectations for Ole Miss. I know it's baseball and analytics are about all you can predict from, but did anybody watch that team last year? They couldn't hit. At all.
Did OM discover some magic bats in the summer leagues?

If Skylar Meade gets the arms going, I feel good about making the tourney this year. Our bats seemed to have finally woken up.

I think Auburn is fairly underrated. We overperformed our talent last year, but we brought in a lot of super talented young players and a couple solid JUCO transfers, while returning all but 2 of our main contributors from last year. Our big problem will be how stacked the SEC is, but I could see this team as a high end 2 seed or potentially hosting a regional.

keep sleeping on Southeastern and the Southland, 2nd class inferior ranking system.

SLC sent these same 2 teams in 3 out of the last 4 seasons.

SLC sends 2 teams in 5 of the last 6 seasons. They've been very close to sending 3.

2017: SLU, Sam Houston = 2
2016: SLU, Sam Houston = 2
2015: Houston Baptist
2014: SLU, Sam Houston = 2
2013: Central Arkansas, Sam Houston = 2
2012: UT Arlington, Sam Houston = 2

Sam Houston State has made into a regional in 8 of the last 10 seasons, finally reaching a super in 2017.

It is a preseason tourney prediction for college baseball, they probably picked names out of a hat when filling out the bracket.

You're right about us not being able to hit last year. That's been our downfall for the last couple of years actually. We were extremely young last year as well. Our pitching staff will carry us this year, and is why we won the 32 games that we did last year. If we can hit a little better this year, I can see us winning 40+ games and hosting a regional.

It's hard to rate the SECW. Based on Auburn being a 3 seed means they likely finish 6th in a division of 7. That is a ton of respect to have the 2nd to last place team in the tourney. Once you're not hosting then it doesn't make much of a difference at all if you're the 17th best team of the 47th.

Would be nice to see. Unlike football, I pull for OM success in baseball

Sooners in College Station? That’s an early exit.

FYI your Friday starter that transferred into A&M didn't even crack the weekend rotation.
